Santa Cruzin

Wow - today was a busy day. I went to the Santa Cruz Post Office and set up for selling uniforms. I did pretty well.

Most importantly, I get to spend time with my dear friend Jimmy. We are going to dinner when he gets off the phone.

Hi Patty,
When I dyed perle cotton I bought it from our wholesale supplier Brewer Sewing Supplies. One needs to have a sales license from the state to buy wholesale from them. Later on we started buying huge cones from a mill in South Carolina, and then had it wound into skeins for us by Testfabrics, very huge amounts.
It is still pretty cheap to buy balls of perle cotton from craft, fabric or needlework shops. Having done this for resale in the past, it is not worth the effort, believe me. Just order it predyed from Valdani.com or now you can get it from DMC.
Best Wishes,
Melody
